The eggbutt snaffle has fixed, oval-shaped rings that provide a consistent contact. It offers a lighter feel in the mouth for more sensitive horses and has a thicker diameter to distribute pressure over a larger area. The single joint creates a nutcracker action that applies pressure to the tongue, the bars of the mouth and the horse’s palate.
