The Mexican-style noseband is a perfect choice for cross country or show jumping where added leverage and control is needed. The strap is enclosed within the crown to allow the soft padding to make contact with the horse's poll, not the thinner strap of the noseband. Intercontinental lined rubber web reins won't slip through your fingers when wet for added grip.
