How to measure for a Horseware Rug:

Using a soft measuring or tailor tape, measure from the centre point of the chest (A), across the point of the shoulder and to the centre of the tail (B).

Substract 10 cm (4 inches) from the resulting measurement (for the overlap of the rug at the chest area) and then consult the size table.

The deducted lenght, calculated in either metric, will show you the respective length of the back seam. The length of the back seam corresponds with the size selection box.

Please note: Some rug models are available with different cuts despite having the same basic measurements (body length and back seam). The product name indicates whether it is one of these special sizes (Petite/Mini, Pony or XL).

Petite/Mini: 75, 80 = cut shorter on the sides than pony sizes
Pony: 115, 125 = cut shorter on the sides than horse sizes
XL sizes: 20% larger neckline and 10% longer sides than horse sizes

The Amigo® 1200D Plus Turnout 50g is a best-selling Amigo® turnout rug, offering strength, comfort, and versatility for your horse. Made with a durable and waterproof 1200D polyester outer, this lightweight turnout provides protection from the elements while remaining breathable. Inside, the 210T shine-enhancing polyester lining ensures a smooth feel against your horse’s coat, while 50g of fill offers warmth for transitional weather. The anti-static, anti-bacterial lining enhances both the comfort and hygiene of the rug. The combination of a detachable hood with secure hood loops, Surefit Neck Design, V-Front Closure system, and leg arches allow for freedom of movement. Three crossed surcingles and a wipe-clean PVC tail cord provide a secure, adjustable fit for added stability. Additional details include reflective strips for enhanced visibility, a waterproof tail flap for extra coverage, and leg strap compatibility for added security. This rug is also liner compatible, allowing for layering flexibility with Horseware® liners, sold separately. Washing Instruction:

Washing & Care instructions: Ensure all hook-and-loop fasters are closed and clips/straps are attached prior to washing. Line Dry Only / Air dry only away from a heat source. Storage instructions: Once dry, fold neatly into a breathable storage bag. Store in a cool, dry place away from any moisture or damp areas, avoiding excessive heat and UV exposure. Your turnout packaging can be used as an excellent bag for multiple purposes such as an equestrian gear bag.
